  • Total: 6 × 84% seasoning packs + 6 × 72% maintenance packs

A new wood humidor needs to be seasoned before it holds cigars, then kept at steady humidity after. This bundle covers both steps using Boveda's two-step system: 84% seasoning packs first, 72% maintenance packs after. Also useful for a humidor tune-up.

Step 1: Season with 84%

The 84% packs deliver moisture directly to the wood, create a better seal, and keep the wood from pulling moisture out of your cigars later. Place all of them in the humidor, close the lid, and allow about 14 days.

Step 2: Maintain with 72%

Replace the seasoning packs with the 72% packs to hold ideal humidity and protect the flavor, condition and burn of your cigars. No distilled water and no refilling. Each pack lasts about 2 to 4 months in use and keeps up to 2 years unopened in its original packaging. A spent pack turns hard to the touch.
